For Democrats, It’s About Partisan Politics Instead of Creating Real Jobs

Medford – “Today, Mark Lesko continued his series of press conferences with a parade of Democratic Party boss Rich Schaeffer’s political puppets.

“This pointless press conference – to introduce legislation that Tim Mazzei has a history of supporting – aligns him with Huntington’s Frank Petrone.

“Petrone – a political opportunist who changes party affiliations as easily as a chameleon – has a record of increasing property taxes by four percent this year, the failed redevelopment of Huntington Station, and his continued opposition to the people’s will to create council districts in their town.

“This copycat legislation, which undoubtedly will receive bipartisan support, demonstrates the unoriginality of Councilman Steve Rosenfeld, and the continuing disappointment he is for the residents of Brookhaven. Unveiling governmental legislation at a political press conference is a continuation of the political cl ubhouse style of government the Democrat Machine brought to Town Hall in 2006.

“If this is the type of people Mark Lesko is aligning himself with, I urge him to continue to do so.

“Once again, Mark Lesko has demonstrated his lack of experience and ideas for our town after only living here for five years.”
