Great Turn Out & Great Fun at
BTRC Thank You Breakfast and Kick-Off Rally

On the first truly hot day of summer season, the Brookhaven Republican Committee took the opportunity to personally express its thanks to all the hard working committee members who qualified our candidates on the Republican line by submitting petitions in overwhelming numbers.

The committee person is the heart, soul, breadth and strength of any political party; and incumbents and candidates alike took time to personally thank more than 150 of our members who collected and submitted about 5,000 signatures – more than any other party committee in Suffolk County.

As your Chairman, I am proud to have been able to host this Thank You Breakfast and Kick-Off Rally for our dedicated committee member as a way to express my appreciation for all that you do for our Party. Drop by our website in a few days to check out some photographs from the event!

Even in the heat, it truly was an energetic crowd that clearly stands ready to take on our opponents. In 2009, we will not only return our majority, but to take back the entire town board and all races. And during the process, we also know how to have fun and enjoy each others company with some music, good food, and camaraderie.

I cannot emphasize how much all of your efforts are appreciated. We have a long road ahead in the next four months. We will not win this battle without all of your help and support, so I am asking that you take that next step and reach out to volunteer on one of our many intense and competitive campaigns.

I look forward to working closely with all of you as we prepare for Success and Victory in November.
