Memorial Day
Do Not Forget Our Brave, Fearless Heroes – Our Service Men & Women

Dear Fellow Committee Members, Supporters & Volunteers,

This Memorial Day weekend, let us all make sure to take a moment and give thanks to the many men and women who serve in our armed services and especially for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to this country. It is only through their cause of freedom that we remain free today.

All of the fallen were great men and women. Their contribution to our great nation would have been great even if there had not been a war to fight, and larger truths worth defending. They are the truest in definitions of American Heroes.

Ours is a great nation; a great nation is worth defending because of the ideals and principles she was founded upon. This great nation is worth continued effort and sacrifice to make it better and defend it against our enemies.

I know all of us, the members, officials, supporters and volunteers of the Brookhaven Town Republican Committee hold the members of our armed forces – those who have past, have been wounded and currently serve – in the highest regard of love and thanks.

I urge everyone to not only take a moment to pray for our fallen, but to always thank our service men and women when you see them; and offer great thanks and prayers to the families of current members of the armed forces and our veterans.

Be safe and enjoy your families this weekend. Remember and pray for our service men and women, always.
