to the Finest GOP Committee on Long Island

Dear Fellow Committee Members, Supporters & Volunteers,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your hard work and efforts over the past three months during the special election.

While we faced a setback, we saw through the efforts of people like yourself how we have come together as a committee. This campaign saw unprecedented strength in our organization, with hundreds of volunteers fanning out across Brookhaven, and dozens more from Republican organizations across Long Island joining us in the fight against the Democratic machine.

The Brookhaven Town Republican Committee is more unified, more energized and more focused than ever before. I could never be more proud of the members, volunteers and supporters of the Brookhaven Republican Committee.

I am proud of our candidate, Tim Mazzei. He waged an aggressive campaign based on hope, solutions and ideas aimed towards improving the quality of life of our residents. Tim Mazzei defined ‘hard work’ and will work tirelessly to enact an agenda of economic renewal and fiscal restraint. I know you will all join me in thanking Tim Mazzei for his dedication and commitment to the Brookhaven Town Republican Committee.

This fight is far from over. While the special election is behind us, the road before us to the general election is filled with promise, opportunity, and victory!

Our residents are seeing every day the corrupt and misguided ideas of the Democratic Party. They are seeing the Obama administration lead us deeper into recession, and the Democratic state government lead us to fiscal ruin.

Our Republican Town Board Majority is the last, best hope for Brookhaven. Through their efforts of fighting taxes, reducing government, cutting spending, creating new jobs, enacting reforms and protecting the rural character of our neighborhoods.

Our Brookhaven Town Republican Majority is the bright light of good, efficient, cost-effective government at a moment of darkness.

The Democratic bosses want to increase the size of their machine and silence our voice of reform – but with people like you in our committee, I know we are up to the task of beating them back here.

Again, thank you for all of your efforts in the special election, and for the contributions I know you will make to our Brookhaven Republican Committee in the coming months.
