The Campaign for a Republican Victory in Brookhaven 2009 Starts Now!

To Our Members, Volunteers & Supporters

I want to take this opportunity to offer you my sincere thanks to all of you – the dedicated and committed Members and Volunteers of the Brookhaven Town Republican Committee - who supported our 2008 Republican Slate of incumbents and candidates in the months that led to Election Day 2008.

In the days following Election Day, I wanted to give our candidates and campaigns the opportunity to personally express their thanks to you for all that you did during this election cycle - whether it was going door-to-door, participating in phone banks, coming out to our many rallies, putting up a lawn sign, or donating to a campaign.

During this campaign season, I truly enjoyed traveling throughout all of our hamlets and working shoulder to shoulder with you on so many campaigns. We made great inroads with seniors, small business owners, veterans, police, volunteer firefighters and emergency service personnel, and community leaders. In roads that will pave the way to more victories in our future.

I cannot thank you enough for all of your grassroots efforts to make all of our 2008 campaigns competitive in a year where the national and local media propelled and created a Democratic wave that swept through our nation and state.

We had a set back or two on Long Island and New York State; but the 2008 Elections has created great opportunity for the Brookhaven Town Republican Committee. An opportunity for our Committee to recapture the Office of the Brookhaven Town Supervisor in a Special Election early next year and expand our Republican/Conservative Majority.

As a Committee, we will unite behind our Republican standard bearer who will lead us to the first of many victories in 2009! As Members, Volunteers and Supporters of the Brookhaven Town Republican Committee we know that to win elections, we can’t rest - we have to work harder and smarter!

I know you are the finest; most energized and united Republican Committee not only in Suffolk County and Long Island, but in the State of New York. The resurgence of the Republican Party in our County and State begins here in Brookhaven with the election of a New Republican Town Supervisor!

Again, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your support and hard work this Election season. But remember this – the Campaign for a Republican Victory in Brookhaven 2009 began the Day After Election Day!
